The Immortal: Vampires (Original)

Errata

p.15 - Ignore "Damage Reduction (Base) 10/elemental bane" in Table 1-2: Custom Vampire Template Powers, and "DR 10/Elemental Bane" under "Damage Reduction (Base) (Su)" on the same page; Damage reduction only used for normal physical attacks and not energy damage.

p.92 - Change "Damage Reduction 5/fire" in the sample romantic vampire's stats to "Damage Reduction 5/magic.

p.93 - Change the romantic vampire template's damage reduction from "DR 5/fire" to "DR 5/magic".

p.100 - Change each entry in the Damage Reduction column of "Table 2-3: Romantic Vampire Age Categories" so that each entry reads "xx/magic" instead of "xx/fire" where "xx" is the amount. Ancient Romantic Vampires and higher also have a damage reduction of at least DR 10/epic or more, but this does not replace its normal damage reduction.

For example an Ancient has two different damage reduction scores, a DR 20/magic and a DR 10/epic. In this instance, normal weapons must deal more than 20 points of damage to be effective, magic weapons must deal more than 10 points of damage to be effective, and epic weapons (+6 or higher magical bonus) deal damage as normal.

Clarifications

ECLs & CRs
The guideline for ECL modifiers presented in chapter one is only a rough suggestion. Low powered vampires may even have no ECL if their powers and weaknesses are well balanced. Usually however, if a vampire template increases the CR of the character, it should also increase the ECL of the character by at least the same amount.

ECLs should never be lower than 1.
